Dinner with Irza @ Red Kimono SM Megamall ’09. Red Kimono has been voted by the People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals Asia-Pacific (PETA) as the BEST VEGETARIAN JAPANESE RESTAURANT in the Philippines.
I must admit I am a meat-eater and I love American cuisine particularly its steak and ribs. Now I am beginning to love Japanese food for some simple reasons: it’s light, less greasy, oily and fatty, easily digested, and it is presented nicely and orderly. The more you eat Japanese the more you develop the taste for it, the more you long to eat it. Some of my favorites: sashimi, sushi, maki, tempura and salad.

Thanks to Red Kimono it hastens and enhances my my ability to acquire taste for Japanese cuisine. Tonight, we wear Red Kimono and the lyrics of the most popular song entitled “Turning Japanese” applies to us too hehehe
